As a commercial animal photographer my primary job is creating content for pet brands that includes animals. What I love is when vet pharma brands hire me to also include humans from diverse backgrounds as well, like we did for the Bravecto shoot in San Diego.
We truly had worldwide representation in our talent, and also got to photograph not just dogs but cats as well.
I hope to do many more dog and cat photo shoots for pet brands that represent people from all walks of life. (Animals too!). These are some of my favorite images from our shoot.

What I love so much about doing commercial animal photography that also includes a diverse variety of human talent is that the images end up appealing to a wide variety of different kinds of buyers. They represent the wide array of people who love their pets, and as marketing tools end up being much more beneficial to the pet brand commissioning the photo shoot.
I’ve been a commercial dog photographer for almost 20 years, and I’ve noticed that over time more and more big companies and agencies are actively trying to be more inclusive with their imagery. I love this trend and look forward to seeing it continue!
