Fergie Dreams series personal photography project

When I was at the Palm Springs Photo Festival in May I had a vision of Fergie. More specifically- a visual of a photo of Fergie. It was moody and ethereal, and more visceral than literal. It was at least partially inspired by the visuals in the Netflix show Bloodline (which I love. Whose with me?!). So a couple of weeks after the festival I finally carved out some time to make that photo come to life, and that photo turned into a little series called ‘Fergie Dreams’.

These are the first photos in the series, and I’ll share the other ones in the coming weeks. (If you can’t wait, you can find the gallery here ). Interestingly, this series has inspired me to create more ‘pretty’ photos with beautiful light and pastel colors, so if you start seeing more of those coming from me, you’ll know why. I’m over the moon in love with the colors and feel of these images, and feel they represent me as a visual artist in a way my work hasn’t in a long long time. I hope you like them as much as I do!
